There is a private beach within a short walking distance from both places and a public beach is nearby as well.
There are walking trails and cross country ski trails and access to a
fire pit area. Within a few minute drive, you will find Slave Lake's 18 hole golf course
(Gilwood Golf and Country Club). Slave Lake is a home to some of
Alberta's best fishing and hunting experiences. Maybe you are in the area for one of Slave Lake's fishing derbies (Slave Lake Anglers Cup
- Canada's Largest Walleye Tournament) or perhaps the Alberta Sand Sculpture

Winter ice fishing / Summer fishing – Packages available to include room, meals, fishing experience. In the winter, we have heated ice fishing shacks available to rent. For the ice fisherman (and fisherlady), there is a private access to the lake. It is short distance to the public boat launch in the summer.
